Biography

Dr. Md. Hasan Zaman is a clinical and interventional cardiologist, currently serving as Registrar, Department of Cardiology, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Dhaka. A courteous and dedicated physician, Dr. Zaman is committed to effective, caring treatment for every patient with heart disease.

Education & training

  • MBBS — Dhaka Medical College (University of Dhaka), 2011, passing all professional examinations regularly; internship at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in Surgery, Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  • Joined the 33rd BCS (Health) cadre in January 2017 and served two years at upazila level.
  • MD (Cardiology) — Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU): residency from March 2015, Phase B from March 2019, completed in January 2022.
  • Passed FCPS Part I in Internal Medicine (BCPS), July 2013.
